Guilin Duoyuan Plastic Products Company focuses on recyclable resource recovery and processes large volumes of post-consumer packaging waste every day. They handle plastic materials such as courier bags, bubble wrap, and other PE-based films from the e-commerce logistics sector. Although the material supply is abundant, the incoming waste presents several challenges. The feedstock often contains mixed plastics such as PE, PP, HDPE, and LDPE, along with adhesive tapes, printed inks, soil, and label residues. If these contaminants are not removed thoroughly, they affect pellet purity, appearance, and market value directly. Achieving stable quality from such mixed and highly contaminated film waste became the core issue to solve.
HS Machinery provided a customized, integrated PE film recycling pelletizing line tailored to this application. The system begins with heavy-duty crushing, followed by intensive friction washing and rinsing to separate labels, adhesives, and sand-like contaminants. A squeezing and dewatering section further reduces moisture and removes remaining residues. The cleaned film flakes are then fed into a multi-stage extrusion system for melting and homogenization. The line is equipped with a continuous screen changer and metal wire mesh filters ranging from 80 to 200 mesh, enabling fine filtration of residual impurities in the melt. The final output is high-purity recycled PE pellets with dense structure, uniform size, and consistent appearance.
After commissioning the line, the client significantly improved both recycling efficiency and pellet quality. The recycled PE pellets are now widely used by downstream manufacturers in blown film, injection molding, and pipe production. The production stability and consistent pellet quality have strengthened their competitiveness in the recycled plastics market.
